The conversion of Amoreon to 2D is in full progress!

Sebastián is working hard to make the dreams of our fans, who don't have a VR headset, come true. Despite having a slow start, things are starting to take shape. The controls have been converted from the VR controller to the keyboard and mouse. This means it's now possible to select and pick up objects by using the 'normal' controls.

However, we will still need to go over each and every individual scene to make sure the controls work well. The first scene (the tutorial scene as showed in the visual above) is done. So that's another milestone in the progress of converting the Amoreon game!

In terms of the timeline, it's still very hard for us to say when the 2D version of Amoreon will be released. Unfortunately we keep bumping into new issues when it comes to converting the game from VR to 2D. Therefor we hope you can have a bit more patience and we will make the wait worth your while!

Both the VR and 2D versions will be released on Steam later this year.
